So after 5 years of absence, I am gonna give this another crack.
I am doing an overhaul, I don't believe in my old amateur photography anymore, I just find it too boring, and I hardly ever find any time for photo manipulation anymore.
My new passion? I am an Arborist, A tree doctor of you will, this means I get to climb to retarded hights, on nothing more than ropes, with chainsaws. This enables me to see some insane landscapes, among other things, from angles and hights that people don't normally get to witness.
I also want to spread awareness of the trade, most people just assume its a jackass with a chainsaw, if they know about the field at all.
When I graduated high school, if you told me I was going to be an Arborist, my words would have been "What the fuck is that?". Well to put it simply, a high risk climber and scaler of trees, that is an artist, athlete and outdoorsman, that gets a rush off of his job.
Now if you told me that, I would have said, hell yeah, sign me up now. But sadly, it took me 5 years to find this field, connected to horticulture, and doing every job in horticulture from Golf course Superintendent assistant, Landscaper, to turf monkey/planter.
Once you get the thirst to climb, I don't think an arborist can do any other job happily, at least not while able to climb. That of course, is once you get over the initial newbie fear management of being tied into a tree with nothing but a rope. Luckily for some, that comes quick.
As for me, I am 24 years old, a graduate of the Horticulture Apprenticeship and like I said earlier, Last year Arborist Apprentice. Jobs have never been enjoyable for me, at least not until I started climbing. I own my house, living with my Girlfriend and best friend, I am pretty content with life right now.
Hopefully I can turn a few heads with the Scenes of the Trade.
My new account is Flyin-Squirrel. Hope to see you around.

Just popping by to see if I've missed any updates, and since I haven't, I suppose I'll just say hi and go!
